Oprah Winfrey has said that she uses a self help gratitude journal daily and that this practice has significantly improved her life. It took me awhile to really get into the habit, however once I started keeping a gratitude journal I noticed that the happiness and abundance in my life increased tenfold. Remember that what you focus on increases, so the more you focus on the good things happening in your life that you are grateful for, the more good things can start finding their way to you!

I use the self help journal, Gratitude: A Daily Journal, by Jack Canfield and D.D. Watkins. Although you could use any notebook for a gratitude journal, I prefer this particular one because it is dated and under each date there is space to list five things you are grateful for on that day. I've seen other gratitude journals that only have room to list three things, but this journal forces you to seek out those extra two things you are grateful for! There's also room in the back of the journal to list notes, insights, or even additional things you are grateful for.


Self Helf Tip: If you can practice being grateful for things before they arrive, this will speed up their arrival in your life and bring them to you even faster!

You are always telling the Universe what you want by what you vibrate (consciously or unconsciously). Therefore, if you vibrate already having something in your life and being grateful for it now, the Universe understands that as an order to bring that thing to you ASAP.
