Additional Resources for Debt Reduction and Financial Abundance
If you'd prefer to use a self help debt reduction and wealth creation system that's been around for a long time and is considered a prosperity classic, then check out The Abundance Book, by John Randolph Price.
This is a tiny, pocket-sized book which you can literally finish in about an hour (maybe less). However, the book contains the highly regarded 40-Day Prosperity Plan, which is where the magic in this book lies.
The 40-Day Prosperity Plan seems simple enough and you may even wonder how it works, but trust me when I say it leads to powerful results. There are ten statements numbered 1-10 which focus on having wealth and abundance. Every day for forty days straight you meditate on that day's statement and write in your journal about any insights you have about that day's particular statement. The catch is that if you skip a day, you have to start over from the very beginning and do the forty days all over again!
What makes this program so effective is not only the fact that you are focusing on the ten wealth-centered statements for forty days straight, but it also reveals to you how committed and open you are to receiving wealth into your life. For example, if you are unable to do the forty days straight and have to keep re-starting the program (or don't even finish the program at all), this can reveal to you that there are blocks in your way that are preventing you from having all the wealth and abundance you desire. Obviously we all lead very busy lives and there are several things that could get in the way of doing the exercises every single day for forty days. However, if you are absolutely committed to having more money in your life, you will find a way to do these exercises every single day, no matter what. (I've done these self help debt reduction exercises on planes, while at other people's houses, etc. just to make sure I did the forty days straight and didn't have to start over again.)
In order to create more money and overall abundance in your life, you must make sure that your thoughts and beliefs are focused on having wealth rather than lacking wealth. This is stated by the
law of attraction.
This can initially be difficult to do, and a lot of the time we think we are focused on making more money when in actuality our mind is focused on losing money or never having enough to meet our needs.
For example, if you are constantly saying to yourself, “I hope I get more money because I always run out at the end of the month and can never pay off my credit card bill,” you are actually focused on lack! You may think you are focused on wealth because you are telling yourself you want more money and wished you had more money in your back account… but in reality you are focused on not having enough money to pay your bills at the end of the month. Do you see the distinction?
Here’s another example: When you go shopping at the mall or even your local bookstore, are you focused on all the things you can afford? Do you see something you want to purchase and say, "Great! I have enough money to buy that." More than likely you see things you want to buy and tell yourself, “Nope, I can’t afford that. I really like that, but I can’t afford that either.” You may even be thinking to yourself, “I wish I had more money so I could buy that” and you assume you are focused on having enough money to purchase what you want. But in reality, your attention is concentrated on not having enough money to buy whatever it is you want to buy.
This is a difficult distinction to make, however once you master this you will really notice a difference in your life with respect to having lots of wealth and abundance.
