Our mind is made up of the conscious level and the subconscious level. Conscious thoughts are thoughts that run through our head on a daily basis, and say things like “I am hungry”, “I am not good enough,” or “I wish I could be like her.” However, subconscious thoughts run much deeper in the mind and are not easily identifiable. These are beliefs that have been with us since we were children and our responsible for carrying out our lives on a daily basis. In order for your life to really change, you must change your beliefs on a subconscious level. This is an absolute must, because until your beliefs are changed on a subconscious level real, everlasting change is not possible.

Hypnosis changes beliefs on a subconscious level, and can quickly and easily help you make longstanding changes in your life, sometimes overnight. Hypnotists do this by first relaxing your mind so they can bypass the conscious level of the mind and reach the subconscious level. Once you are sufficiently relaxed, the hypnotist makes suggestions regarding the area of your life you would like to change. Some typical suggestions would be, “I easily give up smoking and no longer have the desire for a cigarette.” “I enjoy working out and do it daily.” “I am confident and relaxed in all social settings.” Before you know it, these suggestions become beliefs in your subconscious mind and you’ll notice that your behavior is changing without any effort on your part at all!
